A flexi toy (short for flexible toy) is a 3D-printed figure made up of interlocking segments that allow it to bend, twist, and pose in your hands. They're satisfying to hold and endlessly poseable — think of them as the fidget toy that actually looks like something.

Every Cadence Creatures flexi toy is articulated by design — meaning the joints are printed in place, no assembly required.

Named hero creatures include a Field Notes card with a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera and it opens an unlisted page on cadencecreatures.com — a Field Notes log written as if Cadence herself discovered your creature in the wild.

These pages are set to no-index, so they won't appear in search results, but anyone who has the link can open them.

Every creature is designed by independent 3D artists whose work Steven licenses. Steven prints, finishes, inspects, and packs each order in Visalia, California, with his family beside him — using a Bambu Lab P1S printer and high-quality PLA-based filament.

Nothing is dropshipped. Nothing is outsourced. Every single order is touched by hand before it ships.

Every order is packed securely by hand in Visalia, CA. Multiple items travel together in one combined parcel with one tracking number. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days, or 5–8 business days for an eligible print-to-order creature.

Cadence Creatures flexi toys are printed with PLA-based filament, and each piece is hand-inspected before shipping. They contain small parts and are not intended for children under 3 due to choking hazard. Supervise young children during play. We have not submitted these toys for third-party child-safety certification.

Hand wash only, and keep your creature away from sustained heat above 140°F. Transparent filament may become cloudy if it is rubbed against rough surfaces.

An eligible individual named creature can still be ordered when it's out of stock. Your order goes to the top of the print queue, gets printed fresh, and ships to you.

The price is the same as an in-stock creature. Processing takes 5–8 business days instead of 3–5, because it has to be printed first. Limited Cami editions and stock-limited packs may sell out.

No. Bespoke designs and custom color requests are not currently offered. Eligible sold-out individual named creatures can still be printed fresh, but that's print-to-order rather than a custom order.

The shop is named after Cadence Michelle Portugal — Steven's daughter, who came into the world weighing one pound, one ounce, and left a mark on everything. The crown in the logo is hers. Every creature carries her name. The whole thing is hers.

Not right now. Customers cannot select a color at checkout, and custom color requests are not currently offered. Named creatures are made in the workshop-selected color for their design. Pocket Creature colors may vary.
